Flexographic Labels

Flexographic labels are often dispensed by machine or applied by hand.  They are pressure sensitive adhesive backings, and are economical to print and easy to apply.  We can print flexographic labels with up to 8 colors with presses that use fast drying, low viscosity, water based, and/or UV curable inks.

Flexography is the most popular process used to print packaging labels (product labels).  The food and packaging industry primarily uses flexographic printed labels because they are typically the most cost-effective, and are attractive to the consumer.

Flexographic printing produces high quality impressions with images at 133, 150 or 170 line screen.  Commonly used face stocks include:

  • Paper

  • Foil paper

  • Polyester

  • Polypropylene

  • Polyethylene

  • Acetate

  • Fluorescent stock
